Exhibition from "Gjuriste 2008" art colony in Kriva Palanka
Kriva Palanka, April 1 (MIA) - Exhibition of paintings from traditional international art colony "Gjuriste 2008" opened at the exhibition hall of Kriva Palanka Culture Center.
- Human spirit has always created beauties, it has created art during the entire history of its existence. Mutual challenge to each artist, within the personal creation, represents the wish for something nice and the overall dedication to beauty, Culture Center manager Vanja Jakimovska told MIA during the exhibition opening.
A total of 19 pieces are displayed at the exhibition from Sveti Nikole art colony whereat Liljana Ilic-Radovanovic and Ivan Milanovic-Vanja from Serbia participated, along with Novica Trajkovski, Pavle Kuzmanovski, Miroslav Trendafilovski-Miki, Trajko Tosevski, Petre Kolev and Dimitar Lazov-Lav from Macedonia.
Pieces are mainly made in oil on canvas, oriented towards contemporary artistic tendencies, above all as a result of various artistic sensibility and different painting lexis.
The exhibition will be open until April 10.
