Skopje, April 10 (MIA) - President Branko Crvenkovski and Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski had a meeting late Thursday to discuss a motion for the Parliament dissolution, calling of early elections, the EU and NATO agenda.
After the meeting, held on the PM's initiative, Gruevski said he wished to convince the President that whatever decision was going to be made on the motion for the Parliament dissolution, his party and the Government would keep working on the realization of the state, national interests.
- I wished to convince him that all of us, I, Nikola Gruevski, VMRO-DPMNE, the Government, experts, citizens and all of those who can help, will keep assisting the country, fighting for NATO, EU agenda, do everything that is in favor of our state, national interests, our rights, for what is important for the Republic of Macedonia. After his speech, I wanted once again to convince him that regardless of the upcoming processes, we are holding to the course of NATO, EU agenda, the struggle for preserving our identity and name, and together, engaging all potential at our disposal, we will resume our fight, as I am certain that Macedonia has the strength to deal with these challenges and to succeed, Gruevski said.
