Promotion of "Orgasmic Letters" in "Gjurgja" edition
Skopje, April 11 (MIA) - Short story collection "Orgasmic Letters" by Irena Cvetkovic, known as Femmeguerilla and Alena in the blog sphere, will be promoted Friday at ILI-ILI bookstore in multimedia center Mala Stanica. Promoters of the edition are renowned bloggers Gersanina (Refleksii), Vuna and Pornoezija.
The book has been published by "Gjurgja" house, which recently sent an open invitation to all bloggers for publishing their prose works. Irena Cvetkovic is the publisher's first choice.
"Orgasmic Letters" are erotic short stories, characterized as subversive and strongly influenced by the women's point. Transferring her short stories from the blog in this book, Alena introduces the theme of lesbian love, often covered in veil in Macedonia.
Irena Cvetkovic was born in 1982. She graduated at the General and Comparative Literature Department, and is currently attending post graduate studies at the Department of Gender Studies at the Euro Balkan Institute.
Cvetkovic published short stories in "Margina" magazine, "Electrolyte 2006" and "Electrolyte 2007". Her short story "Chess" won the first prize at the "Electrolyte" competition. She is the author of Femmeguerilla blog, one of most read and most influential blogs in the Macedonian blog sphere.
