13th independent exhibition by young artist Stefan Pleskonjic opened
Skopje, May 6 (MIA) - The 13th independent exhibition of works by young artist Stefan Pleskonjic was opened late Monday in Mala Stanica Multimedia Center. Several works made with ecological acrylic colours on a cardboard were presented at exhibit. Pleskonjic is 13 yrs. old artist, whereas he started painting when he was 2.
He had his first exhibition at the age of three at the monastery in Teovo village, followed by his solo exhibit at "Stobi" art gallery the same year.
Domestic art critics compare his first paintings with the work "Planetarium" by Kiro Urdin. His works have been placed at NATO HQ in Brussels in 2004.
Works by Pleskonjic have recently been displayed to numerous foreign audiences at Macedonian Center in New York. He has held solo exhibits in Warsaw, Paris and Belgrade and in several towns in Macedonia.
Stefan is also a Child Consul of the First Children's embassy of the World Medjashi, Skopje.
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski opened the exhibition in Mala Stanica.
