Macedonia marks day of victory over fascism
Skopje, May 9 (MIA) - On occasion of May 9 - day of victory over fascism, Government delegation and World War II veteran organizations laid flowers early Friday at the monument of Skopje liberators near the Government building.
Representatives of civic associations and individuals also bowed before the monument.
Day of victory over fascism will also be observed before the monument of Metodija Andonov-Cento in Skopje municipality Gazi Baba.
Moreover, city council of the World War II Veteran Union will hold a gathering, addressed by presidency member Vlado Ivanovski.
