Skopje Marathon at city streets
Skopje, May 11 (MIA) - After a 8-year break, the Skopje Marathon is held Sunday for the second time, organized by the European Union Mission to Macedonia, the City of Skopje, and the Agency for Youth and Sports.
The event encompasses the main marathon of 42km, half-marathon of 21km, 5km marathon for recreational activities, and 2km for elementary school pupils.
In the course of the race, part of Skopje streets will be closed. The total prize money amounts to Euro 7,700.
Besides citizens, several foreign ambassadors to Macedonia, as well as marathon runners from abroad are to take part.
