Third Macedonian Literary Visit in Sofia continues
Sofia, May 16 (MIA) - Literary debate on theme "Bulgarian and Macedonian Literature in New Millennium: Appearances and Tendencies" is held Friday in Sofia within the Third Macedonian Literary Visit, which represents continuance of the cooperation between "Makavej" publishing house and Macedonian Culture Information Centre in Sofia, with the support provided by the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Macedonia.
A dozen Macedonian and Bulgarian literary scientists, translators and writers dealing with cultural and literary cooperation between the two countries participate at the debate. Visit to the grave of Venko Markovski is also included in the agenda.
Blaze Minevski spoke on the literary portrait of Ivan Capovski on Thursday's program in the Macedonian Culture Information Centre in Sofia, followed by meeting with Macedonian poets Ivan Capovski, Trajan Petrovski, Branko Cvetkoski, Pasko Kuzman and Ilija Velev.
Literary award "Macedonian Literary Daedalus" will be awarded at Third Macedonian Literary Visit for the first time this year.
The award will be presented to the President of Bulgarian Writers' Association, Nikolay Patev, for enhancement of cooperation between Macedonian and Bulgarian writers.
