Puccini's "La Bohème" at May Opera Evenings
 Skopje, May 20 (MIA) - Opera "La Bohème" by Giacomo Puccini will be performed Tuesday evening in the Macedonian National Theater, within the frameworks of the May Opera Evenings.
The Macedonian Opera and Ballet (MOB) orchestra will be conducted by Josip Sego from Croatia, while Alessandro Liberatore (Italy) will star in the role of Rodolfo. Liberatore kicked off his global career in 2002 by performing with Luciano Pavarotti in Monte Carlo.
The role of Mimi will be played by Izabela Klosinska (Poland). Vladimir Andric and Tanja Andric (Serbia) and Deljan Slavkov (Bulgaria) are amongst the international guests who are included in the cast, alongside Goran Nacevski from Macedonia.
"La Bohème" is the second opera, following "Tosca", which will be performed during the May Opera Evenings 2008. With the upcoming "Turandot", the Macedonian Opera and Ballet will joint the global festivities for marking the 150th jubilee of Giacomo Puccini's birth.
