Macedonian water polo team makes debut at European Championships
Skopje, July 4 (MIA) - The Macedonian water polo team makes its debut Friday (11,00h) against Romania at the European Championships in Malaga, Spain.
The group also includes water polo powerhouses Serbia, Russia, Italy and Germany.
Coach Ljubomir Meckic said prior to the team's departure for Spain that the game against Romania is very important, since it will determine the team's further rhythm.
The Macedonian team wants good performances, maybe beat some favourite, although it is among the 12 best water polo teams in Europe for the first time in the country's history.
