Bocevski: Government calls on Greek authorities to condemn latest incident

Skopje, July 24 (MIA) - The Macedonian Government reacted Thursday regarding the latest case of abuse aimed at a Macedonian national in Greece, calling on Greek authorities and competent institutions to find the perpetrators and condemn the incident.

"The Government reiterates its call that politics is left aside and all problems and challenges to be overcome through the institutions, whereas economy, business, citizens, civil society and other sectors resume mutual operations", Spokesman Ivica Bocevski told MIA.

The Ministry of Interior said today that Macedonian national P.B. reported abuse by Greek citizens following his entry in neighboring Greece at border crossing Star Dojran.

A total of seven cases of abuse have been reported since the beginning of 2008, three of which at border crossing Star Dojran, and two each at Medzitlija and Bogorodica.
