"I Am From Titov Veles" nominated for European film award "Felix"
 Skopje, September 3 (MIA) - "I Am From Titov Veles" received the main award for best film, along with a silver statue for best direction at the festival in Alexandria, Egypt, and has been nominated for prestigious award "Felix" of the European Film Academy.
Film producer Labina Mitevska said at Wednesday's press conference that "I Am From Titov Veles" was selected for the golden Felix among 1,000 films.
"Every producer, director, author can apply a film for the European Felix. The final selection includes 40 films, including 'I am From Titov Veles'", stated Mitevska.
Prior Macedonian films nominated for the "Felix" were Milco Mancevski's "Before the Rain" (1994) and "Dust" (2002).
"I Am From Titov Veles" is written and directed by Teona Mitevska, produced by her sister Labina, who also plays the leading role, whereas their brother Vuk is the stage designer. The film has taken part at 44 festivals worldwide and has received 12 awards.
