Exhibit of international art colony "St. Joakim Osogovski 2008" opens
 Kriva Palanka, September 20 (MIA) - An exhibit of works made during the 22. session of the international art colony "St. Joakim Osogovski 2008", held on Sept. 5-20, was opened Friday evening in St. Joakim Osogovski monastery near Kriva Palanka.
21 artists from France, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Macedonia took part in the colony.
53 paintings created mainly in techniques oil on canvas, acrylic and watercolors are displayed.
The artists were inspired by the cultural and spiritual tradition of the monastery, which spans for centuries, as well as by the landscape which surrounds it.
The project was financed and supported by the Culture Ministry and the Eparchy of Polog and Kumanovo.
