Turin businessmen show greatest interest in Macedonia's automotive industry
Turin, September 24 (MIA) - Possibilities that Macedonia's automotive industry is offering, including the labor force skill and price, developed infrastructure, low taxes and industrial zones, have raised greatest interest among Italian companies at a presentation of the benefits for investing in Macedonia, taking place Wednesday in Turin, Italy.
Team Macedonia, led by Vice Premier Zoran Stavreski, made the presentation in Turin within the second Road Show in Italy. The Team, which also includes Finance Minister Trajko Slaveski, Economy Minister Fatmir Besimi, and Foreign Investment Agency director Viktor Mizo, today visited the National Association of the Automobile Industry (ANFIA).
It has been agreed for representatives of about 10 Italian companies to visit Macedonia in the next few months and get familiar with the possibilities of the country's automotive industry, Stavreski said after the promotion in Turin's Chamber of Commerce.
Macedonia's tax system and opportunities its industrial zones have been offering in this respect were also attractive for Italian companies, Finance Minister Slaveski said.
