Macedonia hosts Women's Handball European Championship
Skopje, December 2 (MIA) - Macedonia hosts December 2-14 the 8th Women's Handball European Championship.
Sixteen European national teams are divided in four groups, which will be played in Skopje hall "Boris Trajkovski" and Ohrid-based "Biljanini Izvori".
Group A - France, Hungary, Denmark and Romania
Group B - Norway, Portugal, Spain and Ukraine
Group C - Russia, Sweden, Austria and Belarus
Group D - Macedonia, Germany, Croatia and Serbia
The Macedonian team plays its first game against Germany in Skopje on Tuesday evening at 20,15h, preceded by the championship's opening game between Croatia and Serbia.
Organizers claim that everything is ready for a successful European championship.
