Angelina Jolie’s jewellery collections to go on public display

New York, 30 May 2012 (MIA) - They might have just finished rolling up the red carpet in Cannes, but the South of France is set to receive a glamour injection courtesy of Angelina Jolie and her jewellery designs this summer.

The Grand Hotel in Cap Ferrat and the Hotel de Paris in Monaco will play host to pieces from Style of Jolie, the actress's jewellery collaboration with Robert Procop, between July 15 to August 15.

Usually only available to view by private appointment, the displays will open up the collection to the public for the first time since the two starting collaborating together in 2008. Aditionally, Style of Jolie is set to be distributed in selected outlets in China, Turkey and the US.

Procop, the creator of Jolie's engagement ring from Brad Pitt, has described how it is an "honour" to work with the actress and humanitarian.

"She doesn't do anything unless it's for charity," he told the New York Times. All proceeds from their collections go to the Education Partnership for Children in Conflict, which has already funded a school in Afghanistan.

The dazzling pieces include a pear-shaped citrine and cushion-cut necklace, while the already established collection of tablet-faceted gem pieces were inspired by a gift that Angelina had Procop create for Brad one Christmas - a tablet-faceted pendant containing a private message engraved by microscopic laser.
