"Cultural Heritage of Republic of Macedonia" is the topic, whereof Pance Velkov is to deliver a lecture at city council of Uruguay's capital, Montevideo on Thursday, reads "Dnevnik" daily. Montevideo mayor is also to attend lecture. Velkov already held lectures within the presentation of Macedonian cultural heritage in this South American country. Velkov presented his photograph exhibition titled "Holy Time", which he had made at several cultural-historical places in our country. Exhibition was opened at the National Museum of History of Art by Museum manager, Gustavo Ferrari, whereas introductory speech was held by Uruguay Museum of Contemporary Art Manager, Enrice Badaro Nadal. Presentation of Republic of Macedonia and its cultural heritage and art in Uruguay are held under the patronage of local authorities and French Alliance in Montevideo, Uruguay Museum of Contemporary Art in Montevideo, and Macedonian civic association "Makedonida". Uruguay is one of 120 countries that have recognized Macedonia under its constitutional name.

Works by Dan Burstein  and Arnie J. de Kaiser "Mary Magdalene" and Richard and Rachel Heller "13th Apostle" are going to be promoted at "Kultura" publishing house on Thursday at 19hrs, reads the newspaper. Painter Vladimir Georgievski is to speak on both works, focusing on woman's role through history of human civilization, as well as on the period of early Christianity. Poets Svetlana Hristova-Jocic and Mihail Rendzov are also to participate at the literary gathering, reading their poetry and verses by world's famous authors.

Despite a 24-hour police presence, crew members of "The Bald Headed Singer" have been robbed of their cell phones, money, cameras... Nonetheless, director Igor Ivkovic says that the performance was very well accepted by Sarajevo citizens, reads "Vecer" daily.

Macedonian theatre actors were robbed in downtown Sarajevo in the Police Hall, whereat police is present 24 hours! Actors were on tour at the famous Sarajevo Winter Festival.

Director Ivkovic explained that the robbery happened during the performance. "We left our personal belongings in the dressing room and though we heard some noise during the performance, we thought that is came from the scenography and regarding the place of performance we had no doubts whatsoever of what was going on", says Ivkovic.

The bags were found after a while, behind the Police Hall, but most of the belongings and all valuables were gone. Organisers of "Sarajevo Winter" festival promised that they would be financially refunded, whereas Ivkovic emphasized the support provided by the Macedonian Ambassador.

"Nonetheless, the performance was excellent and very well accepted by the audience, we had encores and several interviews for their media..." stated Ivkovic.

Director Zlatko Slavenski continues to tackle relation man-space, with his latest display titled "Supernova", which premieres at Skopje Dramski Theatre on Friday at 20:00h, reads the newspaper. Slavenski, director and author of the original, says that the performance is a warm human story, though according to the associating title, it has timeless and spaceless meaning. Slavenski draws direct inspiration from Laurie Anderson and her mono-performance titled "The End of the Moon".

- Our story "stands firmly on ground", though it seeks and digs after the strong relationship between the cosmic energy and the human life. We have several human destinies in the text, stated Slavenski, adding this is the exact context of "Supernova" as a sequel of "Voyager" and "Solaris", through which he had realised great wishes from his youth.

Performance maintains its multimedia effect through the video back up, which will not prevail. Slavenski made the music selection, whereas he created the scenography together with Tihomir Spirovski. The cast includes Biljana Dragicevic-Projkoska, Daniela Stojovska, Rubens Muratovski, Vasil Zafircev, Zoran Ljutokv and Robert Veljanovski.

Tetovo artists' association will start to realise a project for creating a house of art with the placing of several open sky installations on the slopes of Sar Mountain, reads daily "Utrinski Vesnik". Artists plan to create an art residence consisting of five rooms for artists and working area of 130sqm. Two installations are supported by the Ministry of Culture.

"We are very pleased that the project for revitalisation of Tetovo Kale has been initiated, since we are very interested in connecting our projects to that part of Tetovo. We want to develop this part of the town, and the house of art should ensure communication with other culture centers through concrete projects", stated painter Nevzat Bejtuli - Kica, president of Association and one of project authors.

All installations should refine the area and would mark the location of the future house of art.

Tetovo artists say they already have collected certain amount of money for the construction of the house of art, whereas they hope that additional means would be collected through the auction of paintings planned in March.

The 80th anniversary from birth of Macedonian theatre and film direction doyen, Dimitrie Osmanli will be marked by Macedonian theatre houses, whereat performances directed by Osmanli will be set, reads daily "Vreme".

Honoring the doyen, performance "A Flea in Her Ear", which first staging was directed by Osmanli, will be performed at Bitola National Theatre on March 15.

Macedonian National Theatre also joins in the honoring of Osmanli's work with performance "People's Deputy" by Nusic, directed by Osmanli. Performance, scheduled for March 21, is the 200th performance at the MNT stage, whereas this theatre house plans an exhibition and placement of Osmanli's sculpture as well.
