Mogherini: Serbia and Kosovo engaged in normalization of relations

Pristina, 26 March 2015 (MIA) - The European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini says Kosovo and Serbia are fully engaged in the normalization of relations, highlighting the importance of the dialogue resumption.

"We are aware that relations cannot be normalized overnight, this requires time and is not easy", Mogherini told Pristina daily "Koha Ditore".

She adds the dialogue has produced specific progress since the very beginning, while a lot remains to be done with regards to full implementation of agreements.

According to her, the solution of the problem through dialogue and negotiations is the European way, one of the objectives being to bring Pristina and Belgrade closer to Europe.

Mogherini pays March 26-27 a visit to Pristina and Belgrade, where she is set to meet with the countries' top officials.
