"Artophilia", group exhibition of Macedonian painters in Berlin

Skopje, February 26 (MIA) - As of Friday, Berlin-based gallery "Prima Center Berlin" will host exhibition titled "Artophilia" of Macedonian painters Kokan Grcev, Nikola Grozdanovski, Igor Trpceski and Kiro Urdin, who are successful in other professions besides art.

Nikola Grozdanovski works as general practitioner Croatia. He is an affirmed painter, organizing a number of solo shows and receiving awards during his 40-year career. He will present aquarelles of old village houses at "Artophilia".

Skopje architecture professor Kokan Grcev is inspired by the human body, which he dramatically paints and draws.

Igor Trpceski is a Prilep actor, who photographs the town's urban identity and documents numerous sculptures.

Kiro Urdin is an internationally renowned painter, who lives both in Macedonia and Belgium. His latest documentary "Fire and Water" will be presented at the Berlin exhibition.

"Artophilia" is funded by the Ministry of Culture. Macedonian artist Jovan Balov, who manages "Prima Center Berlin" is the exhibition initiator and curator.
