Greece bankruptcy is a matter of time, says New York University economistAthens, 2 November 2010 (MIA) - Greece's bankruptcy is a matter of time, claims Nouriel Roubini, economics professor at the New York University (NYU) and consultant with the US Congress.
In an interview with magazine "Capital", he says in the case with Greece, facts "speak in a very clear language".
"This will happen even if Greeks implement the Draconian economic program, something which I doubt will happen. The slightest external sock may prove fatal for Greece's effort to puts its fiscal situation in order", stresses Roubini.
Therefore, he says, the question for me is not if, but when will Greece go bankrupt.
