US guitarist George Benson performs in Ohrid

Ohrid, July 25 (MIA) - American jazz and funk guitarist George Benson will be performing Saturday evening in Ohrid in the frames of its ongoing summer festival.

Benson arrived in Macedonia from Belgrade, where he delighted his fans at the Summertime Festival. He used his day off between two concerts to see the beauties of the ancient town.

The Grammy-award winning musician is the author of many hits, including Give Me The Night, Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You, Breezing, Nature Boy, Kisses In The Moonlight, etc.

Born in 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Benson launched his career in music as a jazz guitarist. He has collaborated with some of the greatest musicians in the world, such as Lonnie Smith, Miles Davis, Quincy Jones, Chet Atkins...

George Benson so far has recorded over 60 albums, much of which have reached golden and platinum sales. Last year within his world tour, Benson held more than 100 concerts.
