Vice-Premier Arifi meets Spanish MoFA State Secretary

Skopje, 16 May 2012 (MIA) - Vice-Premier for European Affairs Teuta Arifi held talks Wednesday in Madrid with Spanish State Secretary for the European Union at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Inigo Mendez de Vigo y Montojo, as well as members of the Foreign Affairs and EU Committees of the Spanish Congress of Deputies.

Arifi briefed her hosts on the course of Macedonia's reforms, especially in key spheres notified by the European Commission - judiciary, public administration, freedom of expression etc. In this respect she underlined the significance of Macedonia-EU high-level accession dialogue, which also includes technical talks on the Chapters 23, 24 of the EU acquis. The Roadmap, which defines the activities for meeting the set goals, affirms the Government's commitment to Macedonia's EU-integration process, Arifi said.
