Two terrorists blow themselves up in eastern Turkey

Ankara, 18 August 2017 (MIA) - Two terrorists from a far left organization in Turkey blew themselves up in the eastern Turkish province of Tunceli, after being surrounded by police.
The incident happened in the village of Enidogdu, where the police located the members of the Maoist Communist Party. After ordering them to surrender, the two men activated a hand grenade which killed them both. Police found an automatic rifle and three more grenades, as well as an improvised explosive device.
Turkey has suffered a long running insurgency from Kurdish groups in its eastern provinces, which has recently escalated.
