Albanian negotiations depend on political dialogue, EU says

Tirana, 31 October 2014 (MIA) - Compromise and constructive dialogue is the EU message to Albania, EC official stated in Brussels.

The European Commission has been following the situation in Albania with more attention and more expectations since it became an EU candidate country, official said added while reminding that the country is now preparing for the next phase of the adhesion process - the start of the negotiations.

The future of Albania's process of joining the EU depends on its capacity to reinstate the political dialogue between the majority and the opposition,

The necessity for the politicians to find a compromise and a constructive dialogue will still be at stake, official stressed. "The majority and the opposition need to reinstate the political dialogue especially at the Parliament, where the major political decisions are discussed", official concluded.
