Croatia and Bulgaria voice support for EU admission of all SEE countries

Zagreb, 14 April 2015 (MIA) - Croatia and Bulgaria have excellent political relations and share interest in promoting Euro-Atlantic integration of Southeast European countries and cooperation in energy and infrastructure, Presidents Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and Rosen Plevneliev respectively said onTuesday after their meeting in Zagreb.

"The European and Euro-Atlantic path of all the countries in Southeast Europe is our common interest," Grabar-Kitarovic said at a joint press conference withPleveneliev after their meeting.

The visiting Bulgarian official confirmed that the two countries had to help their neighbours in Euro-Atlantic integration processes, Hina news agency reports. 

"Croatian and Bulgaria have to think beyond their borders. Southeast Europe is our home (...) and our two countries have been and will be a factor of security, stability and development," Plevneliev said.
